Some people ask me the same things: "But...The drawings are yours?" "What do you mean with "the original picture doesn't belong to me"?" "You are an art thief, you messed up the picture" bla bla bla

So I've decidied to make a little FAQ, wich I'll be expanding as people ask me more questions.

:bulletblack: I have saw that, in your draws, you put things like " The original image doesn't belong to me" or similar. What do you mean with that?
:bulletblue:Saying that I want to say that the character, pose, clothes or anything else belongs to me, unless I have modified something (Adding an earring, changing the hair, redesigned the clothes, etc.) That it's to say I have made a redraw.

:bulletblack:A redraw? What is that?
:bulletblue:A redraw is, basically, repaint an image. I took the imagen, I trace it with pencil (yeah boys, tracing time), I ink it and then I proceed to color and shade it.

:bulletblack: SO YOU'RE A THIEVE!
:bulletblue: Sorry to correct you dear reader, but that is not so. If I were a thief, I would not say that the original image is not mine and / or I wouldn't admit what I do (redraws). As you can see, I try to find the original author and if I do, I put a link to his/her DA or anywhere else that belongs to him/her.

:bulletblack: Do you made requests?
:bulletblue:I'm a student of 2nd year of Bachillerato (18 years old), and studies take most of my time. However, if you're patient, I'll be happy to make you a request. Note that I need you to provide me the original picture because I can't draw, I need a model basis. Of course, you can ask me for small details like changing the color palette, different hairstyles, clothes, jewelry, weapons, etc .... I'll try to do my best!

:bulletblack:Have you thought about quitting doing redraws, trace/look out on an original image and start drawing by rourself?
:bulletblue:Honestly, no, I haven't thought of it. I wasn't born with the gift of drawing and that translates into the need to imitate something pre-made.

:bulletblack:So, why do you draw?
:bulletblue:Writing I can put my ideas onto paper, but I need images to portray my characters, to show the places and landscapes where the history happens, the feelings and relationships between them. So that's the reason why I draw.

:bulletblack: And the fan arts?
:bulletblue:I just like these characters and having them decorating my walls make me joy.

:bulletblack: What do you use to drawn?
:bulletblue:Pencil, normal pens (usuadlly black), color pencils, Stabilo Point 88, markers and make up (mainly eyeshadow)

If you have any doubt, don't hesitate to contact me. I'll be pleased to resolve it! ~

:bulletblack: PUES ENTONCES ERES UNA LADRONA!

:bulletblue:Sinceramente, no, no lo he pensado.

:bulletblue:Simplemente me gustan esos personajes y me hace gozo tenerlos decorando mis paredes.

Hi ShiaTheNeko, you say on a lot of your art that you don't own the original picture... what do you mean by that? Are you tracing others works? :?

I mean that I redraw them :3

But, as you can see, I always try to give credit and ask the original author to publish my drawning.

Well, as long as you ask them before and give credit after, it's fine (in my eyes)! :D
